Welcome to Gildersome Spurs JFC

A community club promoting healthy football participation for all ages in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Since the 1976 we have continued to expand to support almost 400 Boys, Girls and Adults from Gildersome and surrounding areas.

We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for all, recognising the wider benefits of being part of a team can offer - including increased physical and mental wellbeing, teamwork and building resilience.

Our teams compete in the following leagues

• Mens Open Age - Yorkshire Amateur League,

• Boys/Mixed - Huddersfield Junior Football League

• Girls only - West Riding Girls Football League

Community Football

Promoting healthy recreation through football for all ages and genders in Leeds.

Qualified Coaches

FA Qualified Coaches lead under 5s to 18+ teams, fostering skills and teamwork for Boys, Girls and Open Age groups.

Girls Football Teams

Dedicated teams for girls, encouraging participation and development in football for all, in addition to the boys/mixed teams

Facilities and Fixtures

Providing quality facilities and organized fixtures for all our teams.

We play and train on pitches in Gildersome (Street Lane, Gildersome Sports Club, Gildersome Primary School and Birchfield Primary School), in neighbouring Morley (Bruntcliffe Academy and Hembrigg Park) and in Beeston (Cockburn School)

Child and Player safety is at our core

We take safeguarding seriously, ensuring the safety of all players, regardless of age, is at the centre of everything we do. We follow the FA standard safeguarding procedures - which, along with other important guidance, can be found in the 'coaches corner'.
